If you are one of the many who created a profile for your business instead of a page then Facebook are currently allowing you to convert your existing details and friends over to a page.

When you convert your profile the profile pages will be transferred and fortunately they are also allowing your friends to be automatically added as someone who “likes” your new page.

Your existing content on the profile will not be transferred, so remember to save any information that you don’t want to lose before you start.

The other point is that your profile account will become a business account, this has limited functions from a normal user profile. Business accounts are not searchable and do not have friends but you will be able to see the administration for your page and ads.

When you’re ready, log into your Facebook profile and go to www.facebook.com/pages/migrate
