Using free Gmail and Hotmail accounts for business is a dangerous way to go:

• You don’t “own” the account – what if the free service is stopped tomorrow?
• As you’re not paying, support is at the discretion of Google and Microsoft
• It looks unprofessional

Instead, even if you don’t have a website, you should buy a web domain. It costs less than €10 to own your own web domain, which means your email addresses will be @yourcompanyname.com.

It gives your business substance, costs very little and it means you own your own email data.

It has to make sense!
